5. How long we keep your data
- Enquiries that do not result in a contract: up to 12 months from last contact
- Customer records (installation and maintenance contracts): 7 years from the end of the contract, in line with our legal and insurance obligations
- NSI-required installation documentation: retained for the period required by the relevant NSI code of practice
- Website analytics data: in accordance with the retention settings of the analytics tool used (see Section 8)
6. Sharing your data
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We may share it with:
- Scutum (our alarm receiving centre) - for customers on a monitoring contract, we pass necessary contact and keyholder details to Scutum, our NSI Gold approved alarm receiving centre
- NSI - as part of our annual audit, installation records may be reviewed by NSI auditors under strict confidentiality obligations
- IT and software providers - companies that help us operate our website and business systems, bound by data processing agreements
- Legal or regulatory authorities - where we are required to do so by law
All third parties we work with are required to handle your data securely and only for the purposes we specify.

Under UK GDPR you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:
- Right of access - to request a copy of the data we hold about you
- Right to rectification - to ask us to correct inaccurate data
